MYCHIP<\/a> (Masonic Youth Child Identification Program) has identified more than 275,000 children since its inception in 1988,\u00a0and it continues to assist families today. The program provides tools to help law enforcement authorities find and identify a lost or\u00a0missing child.\u00a0The Masons of Massachusetts, partnering\u00a0with the\u00a0Massachusetts\u00a0Crime Prevention Officers Association and the\u00a0Massachusetts Dental Association,\u00a0donate MYCHIP resources to make this service available to the public.\u00a0 None of the information is\u00a0copied and all the identifying materials are given to the child’s family.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Free Program Materials<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

VIDEOTAPE:<\/strong> A brief videotaped interview that can be quickly distributed to the media in order to reach a huge audience.<\/p>\n

FINGERPRINTING:<\/strong> Fingerprinting is a well-known means of identification. Resourceful parents keep fingerprints available should the need arise.<\/p>\n

TOOTHPRINTS:<\/strong> A tooth print bite impression is quick and easy. Teeth, like fingerprints are unique. A dental imprint gives both accurate and important information for identification purposes.<\/p>\n

CHEEK SWAB:<\/strong> A Q-tip is gently rubbed on the inside of a child\u2019s cheek to gather DNA material.<\/p>\n

Have a MYCHIP Event in your Community<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you would like a local Masonic lodge to\u00a0organize a MYCHIP event in your community, please visit www.mychip.org<\/a> or email your request to mychip@massfreemasonry.net<\/a>.\u00a0 MYCHIP can be held at schools, public events, or for your private group \u2013 anywhere a large group of children will be present.<\/p>\n

When contacting us, please provide your name, contact information, and the city or town where you would like the event to be held.<\/p>\n
